The Datsun 240 Z was the first sports car from the Pacific Rim that achieved huge international success, especially in the USA, which has accomplished a recognised cult status. Styling was influenced by a Count Albrecht Goertz concept developed for Datsun in the early 1960s, and the tail happy coupe was powered by a 2.4 Litre unit, which owed a lot to the BMC C-Series and well as Mercedes-Benz's straight-six.

This particular model was first registered on the sixth of August 1973, shows evidence of a comprehensive restoration and is a genuine UK example.

when you are standing a few feet away, it's condition is quite remarkable whenever you consider this vehicle is 45 years old. It's Bright blue metallic paintwork is exceptionally clean, with little signs of its age. The brightwork is equally very clean and respectable, with all the panel gaps and shut lines smart.

Within its cabin, you will find a contrasting half black vinyl interior, that looks more representative to its low 51k mileage than age. The vinyl has minimal wear, being fresh and supple, with its wooden steering wheel showing excellent health. The black carpets still retain their factory sparkle and deep pile, the door cards exceptionally clean, with the remaining switchgear and trim in very good condition.

This particular example comes with anthracite alloy wheels, boasting Toyo tyres which are in good overall condition.

Having been lovingly restored to a high standard a number of years ago, this vehicle is in exceptional condition.
